Characteristics in Dermatoglyphics of Male and Female Classified by Examining of Personality


Abstract
This study underwent, having 210 male and 190 female as subjects, to investigate the relationship between personality and dermatolyphics by examining and diagnosing their personalities and determine dermatoglyphics, by comparing, of 7 male subjects and 14 female students with depression, 17 males and 7 females with anxiety, 13 male and 14 female with peranoia, 10 male and 23 female with autism, 15 male and 16 female with nervousness, 16 male and 22 female in the distrubution of normality as one control group.
And its results were as follows : In the fingerprint patterns, it was discovered that the phenomenon of ulnar loop was appeared notably small for male while its whorl was rather big, and that only in the case of paranoia, its whorl was notably increased for female, and in others, there was not much difference.
For both male and female with their own type of personality, it was disclosed that their total finger ridge count (T.R.C.) was determined to be very high. But a comparison of male and female by each type of personality indicated relatively high index for female.
L atd for male of the personality was notably wide only in the right hand, and for females with paranoia and autism, indicated big in the left hands. And there was a difference between male and female, indecating big ones in the left hands of female with depression and paranoia.
In ab ridge count for males of the personality, there was a tendency to have less in both hands and big ones for female only in the right hands.
